Level 2 IT Technician

Role Overview

As a Level 2 IT Technician, you will be responsible for handling escalated technical issues, supporting Microsoft-based environments, and ensuring client satisfaction through timely and effective problem resolution. You’ll work closely with Level 1 technicians, senior engineers, and account managers to deliver high-quality support and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and on-site support for escalated technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to:
  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
  • Azure Active Directory and Intune
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Windows 10/11 desktop environments
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes and user provisioning.
  • Monitor and maintain client systems using RMM tools.
  • Document work in the ticketing system with clear, concise notes.
  • Collaborate with Level 1 technicians to mentor and guide them.
  • Participate in project deployments and migrations.
  • Escalate complex issues to Level 3 engineers when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support within an MSP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with Azure AD, Intune, and endpoint management.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Azure ) are a plus.

Level 3 Technician (Project Delivery, Azure, Intune, Networking)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Level 3 IT Technician with a track record in project delivery to join our growing MSP team. This role is focused on delivering complex IT projects across Microsoft Azure, Intune, and network infrastructure for a diverse client base. The right candidate work closely with clients, project managers, and internal teams to scope, design, implement, and support cutting-edge solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery
  • Lead and implement Azure migrations, hybrid cloud setups, DR Solutions and infrastructure deployments.
  • Design and deploy Microsoft Intune environments including device compliance, app deployment, and endpoint security.
  • Deliver network infrastructure projects including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them
    into technical solutions.
  • Technical Leadership
  • Act as a senior escalation point for technical issues during project delivery.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
  • Document solutions, configurations, and procedures for internal and client use.
  • Client Engagement
  • To participate in pre-sales technical scoping and solution design.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and clarity throughout
    the project lifecycle.
  • Provide post-project support and handover documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Technical Expertise
  • Proven experience delivering Microsoft Azure projects (VMs, networking, identity,
    storage).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments.
  • ISO27001 familiarity an advantage
  • Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Azure Solutions Architect
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • CompTIA Network+ / Cisco CCNA
  • Professional Skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
